Macedon Village Cemetery -

The Macedon Cemetery is located on Erie Street South. The Village of Macedon is one of the few villages that actually owns and maintains their Cemetery. There are a few graves that date back as far as the 1800's, as well as two large markers with the names of the Civil War Veterans from the Village of Macedon engraved on them. The Cemetery is open to the public during the months of April through November. During the winter months, the Cemetery is closed, and the Village will not service the Cemetery roads to facilitate vehicular traffic. All vehicular travel in the Cemetery during winter months is strictly prohibited unless by special approval of the Superintendent. "Cemetery Closed For Season" signs will be posted by the Superintendent when he deems that vehicular travel is no longer safe due to snowfall and icing conditions in the cemetery.
